In November 2007 the European Landowners Organization (ELO), the European Property Federation (EPF), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), The European Group of Valuers’ Associations (TEGoVA) and the Urban Land Institute Europe (ULI Europe) published a report on the EU Real Estate Investment Trust or EU REIT.

On 7 November 2002, TEGoVA published European Mortgage Securitisation: A Valuer's Guide to coincide with its Annual Conference on the subject in Paris. The Guide seeks to introduce valuers to the securitisation process, particularly Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), reveal the workings of the current MBS market in Europe and inform about the transparency in the valuation process required by originators, rating agencies and investors who commission the valuations.

TEGoVA commissioned research from academics at the Universities of Ulster, Reading and Aberdeen in the UK on the Emerging European Valuation Research Agenda. Their findings were revealed by Professor Alastair Adair of the University of Ulster on 1 November 2001 at TEGoVA';s 2nd Annual Conference entitled 'Towards and Efficient European Property Market'.
