NTF represents 450 valuation companies and approximately 1100 independent valuers. Our sister organisation NITO represents the balance of approximately 1500 valuers in total.
The NTF has two subsidiary companies, Norges Eiendomsakademi AS – NEAK (The Norwegian Real Estate Academy Ltd.) and Verdi AS (Value Ltd.).
The three entities in the group employ 15 persons of which 7 are employed by NTF. NTFs headquarters are in Oslo.

All 1100 valuers belong to one of 18 local departments.
NTFs General assembly meets every year – all members are invited to attend.
A board of local chairmen meets every fall to discuss budgets and goals for the next year
NTFs elected board consists only of 5 persons meeting on monthly basis.
Regular members are valuation corporations only.
To qualify for membership a valuation company must have at least one certified valuer connected full time to the company, either by employment or by contract.
To ensure recruitment of qualified people to the valuation business there has also been established a certificate for valuers in training.
All communication with members takes place through electronic media.
The web-site of NTF has a public section (including a brief English chapter) and an extranet for members only.
The communication on professional matters takes place either in the extranet or through a regular newsletter distributed by e-mail.
